Chinese "Blood Chit" which was carried by Air Crew member folded up and used for communication if they were downed and seeking help from the Allied populace. Translation: "U. S. Air Force reinforced us against our enemy during the war. We do respect them for treating us as members of their families, saving our lives and protecting us."
