Comments: Dad, Sgt. Thomas W Pease, belonged to the 481st Air service squadron, Servicing the 43 BG (H). I contacted the National Archives. Apparently his records have been lost. I would like to know if he was assigned to a specific bomb squadron, what it was and when. This site has been very helpful as well as Mr Randy Peters facebook page dedicated to his father T.Sgt. Elmer W. Peters 481st Air Service Squadron, 63rd Air Service Group. I have looked through both plus others but haven’t been successful finding someone with more specific information on the 481st. Any information on the 43BG and others it was in contact with is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Steve Pease :D :p :!cool: :!cry: :!devil: :) :!mad: :!thinking: :o

Comments: My uncle, Lt. James L. Easter, piloted the Naughty But Nice on March 2nd, 1943 during the Battle of the Bismarck Sea and was mortally wounded on that day. I have over 100 letters from him to his parents as well as from others who were on his crews seeking to console his parents after his died. An amazing journey.
