Comments: I've been drawn to this site by a very good friend and former boss of mine, Ed Gammill, who is the Secretary of the 43rd Bomb Group Association. Aftter reading the majority of the information I can understand the pride he has in his service with the 43rd.

Comments: Glad to have just subcribed as a life member as a tribute to my father, N.J. Hirsh (Col. Ret. USAF) who was a navigator on Murphy's crew with the 63rd BS. Thanks for carrying on this history, "Lest We Forget" (CAF motto).

Comments: Regarding Victor M. Royal from Kansas City, Missouri. Among my father's photos and letters from WWII is the Christmas Card sent by him to my grandmother. Ken's Men 43rd Bombardment Grp. (H). I think he was a tail gunner or waist gunner....perhaps a B-17. Have to read all of the letters to be certain. He was in the Phillipines a few days before MacArthur returned. Hope this is the right site to gain some more information. Thank you!!!!
