Love the site. I came across it while searching for photos of Ie Shima for a book i'm writing. Great pics of an overlooked site of WWII! I hope you don't mind if i use a photo of the typhoon aftermath. It will appear in the Columbia restaurant's centennial history and cookbook. How should i cite it? are the personal photos or the DoD?

i've been looking for any info on my dad- edwin merl driever. he was in the 403rd, one of the mareeba butchers. i think he ws the ground crew chief on the wolf pack, and i have heard that he painted, or helped paint many of the pictures on the noses, many of which i have pictures of.
i think he was in new guinea from around april 43, thru april 44. any information would be of great help. thank you
